Eel food of Kitamikado is all-around food which is fresh, grilled and with
sauce.
What is “「Rakuyaki eel」”?、
Eel dishes in Isahaya are special which is continuing from Edo period. Eel dishes
of Kitamikado are repeated three times cooked with plain grilled and grilled
with sauce. Say-sauce flavor is a little bit sweet.

Rakuyaki eel is characterized by special container.
It is an
important point that the eel is steamed as a finishing touch after it has been
grilled, in special container made in Kyoto. The bottom of container is double
structured.
The hot
water is in the hollowed-out
container
As a result, it is steamed just right and tender , it
remains hot for a while.
This eel gives us a melting sensation in the
mouth.
